Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Globevik (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Examora mobile application and related services (the “Service”), an exam-preparation platform for students. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Your username, email address, and a password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
  • Learning activity. Your study progress, including lessons and questions you view or answer, quiz results and accuracy, subjects studied, daily study hours, and any daily goals you set.
  • Purchase information. If you buy a subscription or premium access, we receive a purchase token, order ID, and product identifier from Google Play in order to verify and activate your entitlement. We do not collect or store your credit card, debit card, or other payment details — all payments are processed by Google Play.
  • Device & notification data. A device push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) and basic device platform information, used to deliver reminders and announcements.
  • Feedback. Any feedback, ratings, or messages you choose to submit, along with an optional name or email you provide with them.
  • Technical & log data. Limited technical information such as IP address and request logs, kept for security, abuse prevention, and reliability of the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and personalize the Service and track your learning progress.
  • To create and secure your account, and to send password-reset codes by email when you request them.
  • To verify and manage subscriptions and premium purchases through Google Play.
  • To send push notifications such as study reminders and important announcements.
  • To respond to your feedback and provide support.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following trusted service providers, which process data on our behalf:

  • Google Sign-In — for optional authentication.
  • Google Play Billing — to process and verify purchases.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — to deliver push notifications.
  • Email delivery — to send account-security emails such as password-reset codes.

Your use of Google services is also governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above as needed to operate the Service, or where required to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us, after which we will delete it except where we are required to retain certain records by law.

6. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed password storage, and token-based authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Examora is intended for students preparing for their examinations. If you are below the age of digital consent in your country, please use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that requires, but lacks, verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without such consent, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated within the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact Us
